of Southern Oregon's newest attractions is the state-of-the-art interactive
science museum, ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum.
Amaze
yourself with over 80 interactive science exhibits, Science Live! performances
and hands-on activities.
This
exciting family attraction offers a dynamic atmosphere great for explorers
of all ages with frequently changing shows and exhibits. Special events
throughout the year include indoor and outdoor festivals, lectures,
school programs and summer camps.

many interactive science exhibits are:
Pulley
Chairs - Visitors pull themselves up into the air. Three different
chairs, with three different size pulleys, provide different levels
of difficulty.

Painting - Swing a 10-foot table suspended by wire, making beautiful
large-scale spiral drawings.
Make
an Impression - A 5-foot high wall made of 65,000 plastic "pins."
Push up against it and you'll get an impression of your face, hands,

of Illusions - Unbelievable and amazing optical illusions will make
you question your own eyes.

Pilot - Fly a model plane in a wind tunnel and challenge your skills
as a pilot.
Bubble-ology
Room - Five different ways to play with, and learn about, soap bubbles.
Put yourself in a bubble; experiment with a wall of bubbles; watch bubbles
magically float in mid-air; and more.
