In 1928, it opened as the largest amusement park in the nation. Today, Jantzen Beach is a playground for shoppers; all that remains of its amusement park days is an old-fashioned carousel. Anchor stores include Old Navy, Target, Ross Dress for Less, Pier 1 Imports and Burlington Coat Factory. Other stores include Circuit City, Home Depot, Linens 'N Things and Shoe Pavilion.
