Portland International Airport (PDX) serves as Oregon's largest airport. PDX offers many nonstop domestic flights from Portland to various destinations.

In addition, non-stop service is provided to Frankfort, Germany (Lufthansa), Guadalajara, Mexico (Mexicana) and Tokyo, Japan (Northwest).

Parking Info
Portland International Airport offers travelers several parking options, all of which are located on Airport Way with direct connections to I-205. The lots feature quick and easy access, as well as close proximity to the airport terminal.

For your security and convenience, the PDX parking facilities are fenced, well lighted, paved and open all hours. There is ample parking and no reservations are required. The rate at all parking facilities is $3 per hour and discounted daily rates apply as listed.

Parking Garage — Located next to the terminal, this lot has more than 3,300 public parking spaces. Garage clearance is 8 feet.

Economy Lot — The Economy Lot price is less than or equal to other off-airport lots and closer to the terminal. The 7,800-space Economy Lot is located near I-205 off Airport Way. The lot has red and blue sections, which correspond to color-specific PDX parking shuttles.

Long-Term Lot — Catch a courtesy shuttle that runs regularly to the main terminal. Located near the parking garage, this surface lot has more than 1,400 spaces.

PDX Parking Shuttle — Economy and Long-Term free PDX parking shuttles run from and to the economy and long-term lots every 7-9 minutes from 4 a.m. to midnight, and every 15 minutes from midnight to 4 a.m. Parking shuttles drop off and pick up passengers at the terminal's baggage claim/lower level section. All shuttles are wheelchair accessible.

Motorcycle and Bicycle Parking — Free parking. Motorcycles are not allowed in any of the lots, however free motorcycle parking is available on the arrival level under the upper roadway. Parking is well marked. Bicycles can be locked up in one of two locations: the north end of the terminal building, lower level curbside; and the south end of the terminal building, lower level curbside.

Hotel Courtesy Vans
Many hotels provide free pickup service for their guests. The hotel reservation board located in baggage claim lists those that provide this service. To request pickup, contact your hotel directly. Most Doubletree Hotels and Shilo Inns have scheduled service. A schedule is available at the commercial roadway information booth.

Shuttles
Many shuttles operate from PDX to various areas throughout the greater Portland area. Most are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Off-site Parking Shuttles to off-site parking for AirPark, and Park, Shuttle and Fly are located on the ground transportation commercial roadway. Allow 30 minutes to drive to or from downtown Portland and Portland International Airport.

Executive Cars
Executive cars operate from PDX to various areas around Portland. Most serve PDX between 6:30 a.m. and midnight, seven days per week.

Taxi Service
Five taxi companies serve PDX 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Public Transportation
TriMet MAX Red Line MAX Red Line light rail service runs from PDX through downtown Portland to Beaverton every 15 minutes. A one-way trip from the airport to downtown Portland takes 38 minutes.

MAX Red Line makes 10 stops downtown and provides convenient access to area hotels.

Purchase tickets from automated ticket machines located in the airport lobby near baggage claim as well as on the MAX station platform.

Rental Cars
Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise and Hertz are located in the rental car center on the first floor of the parking garage. Thrifty and Alamo/National have off-airport car pickup facilities and kiosks on the north side of the airport parking garage. Shuttles to their off-site location are located across from the kiosks on the ground transportation commercial roadway.
